Call me cRaZy!!!



Call me CrAzY!

My Pastor was praying for my swollen lymph nodes that I have had for MONTHS on Sunday (5/12/2013) but while praying he stopped praying for my lymph nodes (almost in mid-sentence) and said that God was going to ask me to do some crazy things that would seem crazy to me but do them anyway...God is asking me to do it because I have the boldness (which I question…haha).  This scared me and I was sort of afraid I would be asked to build an ark... 

But yesterday while washing dishes, I remembered a story I heard of last summer (or early fall).   The story was that a woman she knew was having health issues and she had been trying for a baby for several years with no luck. She had been seeing a fertility specialist and nothing was working. She told me that she had posted pictures of them painting the nursery and they already had toys, etc. in anticipation that they would have a child one day. I told this woman telling me this story that she was CRAZY! All I could think was "She will cry every time she walks by that room!" Not to mention everyone on Facebook is going to think she is crazy...she is not pregnant and here she is with a nursery prepared and toys purchased!  The lady’s response was "she is exercising her faith." I responded with, "She is crazy!" 

After I remembered this story...God said..."She  acted out her faith." I once again said in my head..."She looked CRAZY!" He then whispered, "Don't forget she is pregnant..." OUCH! I remembered that the Bible says, “without faith it is impossible to please God” and that “faith without action is dead.” It is time for me to get crazy. In many of the stories of healing in the Bible they all acted out their faith (i.e. Stretching out their hand, touching his cloak, standing up and walking, etc.).  I now admire this woman for having the courage and boldness to exercise her faith so publicly. 

I shared this story with the ladies last night when I was leading up to moving from hope to faith and that we must exercise our faith not just by speaking it out loud but also acting on it because this pleases God...when I mentioned getting a nursery ready or purchasing clothes that we see when out shopping, their eyes got huge and said, "I don't have that faith yet” and “that is crazy!".   And to be honest, I was thinking the same thoughts they were.   But I think I need to be bold and lead by example. Call me crazy from now on because that is what I feel like I am. LOL!  Bring on the crib sheets, baby bibs, and cute boy clothes  :)

WHATEVER it is you are hoping for, let that hope spring you into action!  Speak thankfulness that you have already received what you are hoping for and act it out.  

Hope says it WILL happen but faith says it HAS ALREADY happened...we walk by faith and not by sight.

"For a while now my heart has been heavy, filled with worry and fear of my Husband's upcoming tour. I have prayed and prayed to God, giving him my fear and worry and yet my heart is still heavy. My worry and fear is still there. Last night I came across a friend’s link about the H.O.P.E. page and on this page I found the answer to my question that I hadn't even asked. God knows all, he knows our struggles and our heart and when we seek him he will answer. And his answer was loud and clear, I needed Hope and Faith. I could pray and pray but without that hope and faith I would never defeat the worry and fear that Satan has laid on my heart. We are given these tools to defeat Satan yet mine were unused. But I am using them now. With the help of H.O.P.E. I have been voicing my truths, my hope and my faith in God. I have spoken: God I am strong, I do not fear, I do not worry, I know you will protect my Husband and I know you will bring him home to me. And God answered me; he put a smile on my face and peace in my heart. I will continue to use my truths to fight off Satan because he will come and come again to try and lay worry and fear on me but he will be defeated, he will not win this battle. God has my heart, he has my hope and my faith and I will continue to voice my truths, I will not be quiet!

I have also asked my Husband to do Bible study with me. It is important for us to both have Hope and Faith in God. And what better way to defeat Satan then together!"

Devil needs a new tactic! I have this one nailed!



While on my walk this evening I decided to take the opportunity to speak OUT LOUD over my situation--I said, "Thank you God for your promises of children. I am a fruitful woman. I am not barren and according to Isaiah 53:5 by his wounds I am healed of my PCOS." 
  It wasn't but seconds after I said this I heard a voice whisper in my ear..."but what about this symptom of PCOS? and that symptom? See! You are not healed!" Oh I just smiled because three months ago this scheme by the devil would have worked. Yes, my natural circumstances SCREAM "you still have PCOS!" But the Word of God SCREAMS louder in my HEAD and in my HEART. Today I choose to walk by my faith and not by my sight (natural circumstances). No, I can't SEE my healing but I have faith in the God who says I am and He is not a liar. Just like I can't SEE Jesus or heaven, but I have the same faith I will one day. 
  So after I made the conscious effort to trash the lies the devil whispered in my ear, I decided to exercise my faith out loud again just in case the devil didn't hear my assertiveness the first time..."Thank you God for your promises of my children. I AM a fruitful woman. I AM not barren and according to Isaiah 53:5 by His wounds I AM healed of my PCOS." Boo yah!

Is It God's Will For Me to Have Children?



Is it God’s Will for me to have children?

It is God’s will for you to be fruitful.  He does not show favoritism (Romans 2:11) and He created you to multiply (that is why a 15 year old can get pregnant).  If you are unable to get pregnant then Satan has placed a sickness on your body.  It is your job to use the authority given to you by Jesus to overcome the enemy.  Luke 10:19 (NIV) says that he has “given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”  As a child of God and heir to the throne, we ARE saved and therefore healed by His stripes. 

     The word saved is translated to sozoed in the Greek-(which is what the New Testament is written in)-sozo in the Greek means: 
·        to save
·        keep safe and sound
·        to rescue from danger or destruction
·        one (from injury or peril), to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease
·        to make well, heal, restore to health
·        to preserve one who is in danger of destruction
·        to save or rescue”

 If Jesus is your Savior then you are SAVED (or Sozoed)!

  
Promises of God
(These are not all of them)

Definition of Promise:  A declaration that one will do or refrain from doing something specified; a declaration that gives the person to whom it is made a right to expect or to claim 

  • 2 Corinthians 1:18-20 (NIV): "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are YES in Christ.  And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God"

  • Exodus 23:25-26 (NIV):  “Worship the Lord your God and his blessings will be on your food and water.  I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land.  I will give you a full life span.” 

·        God is not the author of sickness and does not use EVIL to fulfill His purpose and Will.  The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy where Jesus came to give life and life abundantly.  It is not in his nature or his character to cause you pain, sickness, or loss.

  • Psalm 113:9 (NIV):  “He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children.  Praise the Lord.”

  • Leviticus 26:9 (NIV):  “I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers and I will keep my covenant with you.”

  • Deuteronomy 7: 14 (NIV):  “You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor any of your livestock without young.”

  • Deuteronomy 28:4 (NIV):  “The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock-the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.”

  • Deuteronomy 28:11 (NIV):  “The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.”

  • Deuteronomy 30:9 (NIV):  “Then the Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land.” 

  • Isaiah 53:5 (NIV) “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

  • Psalm 107:20 (KJV) “He sent His Word, and healed you, and delivered you from your destructions. “

  • John 14:27 (NIV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”




Truths about God’s Character

1.       God does not show favoritism

      • Romans 2:11 (NIV):  “For God does not show favoritism.”

          2.   God does not lie or change his mind

      • Numbers 23:19 (NIV):  “God is not a man that he should lie nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.  Does he speak and then not act?  Does he promise and not fulfill?

      • Titus 1:2 (NIV): “a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time.”

      • James 1:17 (NIV) Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

      • Isaiah 55:11 (NIV) “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

              3.   God is always faithful

      •  Psalm 33:4 (NIV) “The word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. “

      • 2 Timothy 2:13 (NIV) “If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”

      • 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

      • Psalm 36:5 (NIV) “Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens your faithfulness to the skies.”

      • Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

God never fails, He never lies, and He always follows through on His Word! He is faithful!  Let's be faithful to His Word too, and get it sown into our hearts so we can bear fruit in every area of our life!!
